  • Users may see notifications within the Operations and Configuration clients
  • Video streaming from cloud-connected cameras may be disrupted if updates are not completed
  • This change primarily impacts environments using firewalls with outbound traffic filtering

  • This can impact security monitoring, investigations, and daily operations
  • Action is required before May 25, 2026 to avoid service disruptions

  • If so, update firewall rules to allow:
    • TCP port 554 (RTSP)
    • TCP port 1935 (ICE streaming)
  • Add the following domains to your network allowlist (based on region):
    • rtsp.eastus2.video.genetec.cloud
    • rtsp.centralca.video.genetec.cloud
    • rtsp.eastau.video.genetec.cloud
    • rtsp.westeu.video.genetec.cloud
    • rtsp.southuk.video.genetec.cloud
  • Complete all updates before May 25, 2026
